Claddagh Cottages are two beautiful cottages nestled in the heart of the countryside of West Waterford close to the border of County Cork. Surrounded by the serenity of green fields and forests, Claddagh Cottage and Caitlin’s Cottage are 2 minutes drive from each other so can be rented separately or together for bigger parties.
Both cottages have Fáilte Ireland’s Welcome Standard and are like home from home, equipped with free WiFi, TV, DVD and every other home comfort you will need, including all the mod-cons in the kitchen.
Based halfway between Dungarvan and Youghal, which are only 15 minutes away, Claddagh Cottages are ideal for exploring the southernmost part of Ireland’s Ancient East. They are perfectly located for trips to Ardmore, Lismore, Midleton, Cobh, Cork and Waterford, including all the beautiful beaches along the south coast. The cottages are just an hour away from Cork or Waterford airports and two hours drive from Rosslare port or Dublin.
Claddagh Cottages are a wonderful base for sightseeing in the locality and there are several picturesque walks and cycling routes in the area including the famous new Deise Greenway, plus only 15 minutes drive to the stunning beaches in this south coastal area. The cottages are a perfect base for golfers trying the Dungarvan Golf Triangle and anglers are spoilt for choice with deep sea fishing and also fly fishing on the Blackwater.
For those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a relaxing, peaceful time the Claddagh Cottages are the place for you. Though you are still guaranteed a good craic on a night out locally and we can always recommend the best places to go from the award-winning Irish pubs and restaurants close by.

“Your cottage is such a gem and we are so glad we found it. We will definitely be back to explore the beautiful countryside and beaches again. We particularly liked Dungarvan and Ardmore and found some great restaurants there. It’s only a couple of hours from Dublin so we will be back soon.” Conor & Aine, Dublin
